MomoNote v5.0 has arrived.

Hello.

Here are announcements on MomoNote update.

First of all, we would like to apologize for the delays in update that we promised before.

This update is for the iOS6 support and preparation for the new features that will be available on the future update.

Followings are information on v5.0 update.

  • Added sync features for 'Favorites' and 'Smart List' 
  • iOS6 support 
  • iPhone5 support 
  • Changes have been made to use the built-in features of iOS for Twitter and Facebook sharing. (iOS6 or higher only) 
  • Methods of saving attached file have been changed for the future updates. 
  • Changed login method : Method has changed so that Cloud sync login to be entered directly from Google account login page. 
  • Enhanced security : Data encryption using the SSL when cloud sync. 
  • Various bug fixes 

We believe that lack of updates and customer supports have caused many concerns for the users.

Users can expect to see steady enhancements for better MomoNote experiences as we are continuously working internally for improvements.

System Maintenance

To prepare the upcoming update, we need to makes changes with momonote.com Cloud Synchronization server.

Once we begin the process, momonote.com will become read-only for the time being.

You will be able to read stored memos, but not edit, delete, or add.
For the sync with iPhone, you can only download from momonote.com. You will not be able to upload.

This process is expected to take 2 days. Please refer to the schedules below.

This system maintenance is solely to prepare the upcoming update, and therefore new features will not be available.

News on upcoming features

It's been a while since we announce news for MomoNote.

First of all, we would like to apologize for not being able to take actions upon some of the feedbacks we have received.
We have been working hard to make some drastic changes.
For those who have been waiting for the news, here are the lists of work in processes.

- Multiple photo attachment in a single note.
Once limited by single photos per note, you can now include multiple photos in the note.

- Features will be available in momonote.com that are exclusive to iOS version of MomoNote.
You can now upload photos, use Favorite Tags, Smart Lists, and change the memo sorting options in the PC/Mac.

- Mac OS, Windows Application
It is designed with similar look & feel compare to MomoNote for iPad, and you will be able use it offline.
We expect to provide this service free of charges.

News mentioned above will be revealed and take effect on early 2012 with the beta testing of Mac OS, Windows application.

MomoNote v4.2.1 is now released.

MomoNote v4.2.1 is now released.


Here are the details for the v4.2.1 update.




1. New search conditions are added to the smart list.
    Also, search using the #phone, #email, #URL smart list have been added as default.


2. Applied the Retina Display.


3. If a memo contains phone number, e-mail, or URL, corresponding icon will show in the memo list.


4. Some of the bugs were fixed.

  • Bug that caused keyboard to disappear when entering camera mode while the memo, given that only input was a tag.
  • A bug which failed to apply the changes in memo list when memo date was edited.
  • A bug which failed to display the link correctly when memo is selected from the iPad.

MomoNote has been updated to version 4.2.


The followings are the new features of v4.2.


・Multi-level bulleted list support
The basic bulleted list from previous version is upgraded to multi-level.


・iPad support
From v4.2, MomoNote is provided as 'Universal Application', which supports both iPhone and iPad at same time.
No additional purchase is necessary for current iPhone MomoNote users.


・Cancel button added in edit screen

News on development of iPad version.

Here is the current status of development on MomoNote v4.2.


We are in the final stage of supporting the iPad version.
We have completed the actual development and we are in middle of testing. We are releasing the screenshot beforehand.




MomoNote is provided as 'Universal Application', which means you may use in iPhone and also iPad with a single purchase.


You do not need additional purchase if you are current iPhone MomoNote user.


We will be announcing MomoNote v4.2 update news on the Twitter as soon as possible.

Multi-level Bulleted list added.

Here is some info on the upcoming MomoNote v4.2


In the MomoNote v4.2, it will contain Multi-level Bulleted list, enhancing the current Bulleted list.




It will be same method as before.
When you touch the bulleted list on memo writing screen, list bullet will automatically show and starts list input.
When you finish and change the line, the list bullet will automatically appear and it will allow you to input next line.
When list bullet is on, pressing the 'space' button will switch to lower-level and pressing the 'backspace' button will switch to upper-level with automatic indentation and change of list bullet.


As a major part of the v4.2 update, iPad compatible support is currently being developed.

MomoNote v4.1.1 has been released.

MomoNote v4.1.1 has been released.
Rather than adding new features, this update is a minor upgrade addressing the previous bugs that were present.  If you are still running into problems even after the update, let us know by leaving feedbacks on Twitter, Blog comment, and Support Team e-mail.


Let us introduce the next version of MomoNote.
MomoNote v4.2 will be supporting iPad and Retina Display. In the iPad version, iPhone MomoNote users will be provided with "Universal Application" to use it in iPad without additional purchase. Please be patient and keep us posted with your interests as we are currently developing it.

MomoNote v4.1.1 is under preparation to deal with Twitter login issue.

Currently there is issue when login to Twitter from MomoNote as Twitter login method have changed.
We will be releasing MomoNote v4.1.1 very soon to fix this problem.

iPhone version of MomoNote v4.1 has been released.

Have you update to MomoNote v4.1?
Continuing with previous v4.0, the v4.1 update contains features like classic design theme, color option for theme, classic editor, and picture memo button.
Let’s take a close look at v4.1 update.



Theme and color option


The ‘Theme’ and ‘Color option’ have been added in ‘Settings’.

Currently, supported ‘Theme’ are ‘Basic theme’ and ‘Classic theme’. The Basic theme refers to design offered from v4.0. The Classic theme refers to design prior to v4.0. If you prefer previous MomoNote design, please choose the Classic theme.
Only basic and classic theme is available for now, but more designs will be available soon.


The color choices for ‘Color option’ will be different for each Basic theme and Classic theme.
In the Basic theme, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, and Warm Gray are available. In the Classic theme, Blue, Emerald, Burgundy, Olive, Light Blue, Violet, Black, Orange will be available.


Editor: Quick Editor, Classic Editor


The ‘Editor’ has been added in ‘Settings.

You can choose either Quick Editor or Classic Editor for the editor. The Quick Editor refers to editing method from v4.0. The Classic Editor refers to editing method prior to v4.0. If you prefer previous editing method, please use the Classic Editor.



The quick ‘Picture Memo’ button added in Toolbar’s ‘Add Memo’ button


The ‘Add Memo’ refers to classic text-first memo, and ‘Picture Memo’ refers to a method where you start the memo by attaching the picture first.

When you press and hold ‘Add Memo’ button, ‘Picture Memo’ button will appear like the screenshot above. When it appears, touch the button as you drag towards top.
The resulting memo will be the same whether you start memo with ‘Add Memo’ or start with ‘Picture Memo’. Just use with your preferences.

The main focus of this update was to provide various options in theme, color, and editor.
